ASM - Make Your Mark ...

.... Hello all!!  It's time for one of your favourite challenges at Addicted to Stamps and More!  It's our "Make Your Mark" challenge - use pencils, paints, markers - whatever you have to colour your card.  Our sponsor this week is Stitchy Bear Stamps and the winner of the challenge will get 3 digis up to the value $10.00.   I've made a couple of cards using their digi images.

Thanks Berry Much - photo by Deborah Frings - Deborah's Gems

Stamps: Scrappers Delight Berry Babies - Blackberry; Waltzingmouse - Big Berries: Strawberry
Inks: Stampin' Up! - Blackberry Bliss
Accessories: White Lustre Card; SU Card - Blackberry Bliss; Copic Markers

Don't you think she's an adorable little Berry Baby?  I coloured her with Copic markers and then cut her out.  I made the base from Blackberry Bliss card (seemed appropriate).  I stamped the sentiment in matching ink and stamped again to give a subtle shadow, then I embossed the panel with some fun dots.  The inside is blank for a message. Next I made a simple hello card.

Hello - photo by Deborah Frings - Deborah's Gems

Stamps: Stitchy Stamps - Bumberella; Waltzingmouse - Happy Hello Thanks
Inks: SU - Green Galore, Tangelo Twist
Accessories: White Lustre Card; Copic Markers; Wink of Stella Brush - Clear; Sequins

I know that Bumberella suggests a bumble bee, but I decided to colour her green (my favourite colour).  I cut her out, added a touch of sparkle to her wings and adhered her to the card.  I added a few sequins for sparkle.  The inside is blank.  I took the photos outside in the sunshine - so you can see the colour of the sequins really well - they are actually a bit more subtle in real life!!

For more inspiration, check out the cards from the rest of the Design Team.  That's all for now.  See you soon.

So funny that we both colored the bumberella green - I actually thought is a dragonfly....never occurred to me it could be a bumble bee - much too skinny for that....Great cards - both of them. that Berry baby on your background - just fabulous!
